Mr. Olalekan Bade-John is a 1988 law graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He attended the Nigerian Law School between 1988 and 1989 and was called to the Nigerian Bar the same year to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in Nigeria.
He started his legal practice with the law firm of Dr. Olu Onagoruwa, SAN and Co, in 1989 and has actively remained in legal practice till date. He became a Notary Public in Nigeria in 2014.
He is at present the Managing Partner in the law firm of Messrs. Alliance Legal, located in Lekki Peninsula Phase I, in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. His area of specialization is dispute resolution by litigation and arbitration in the areas of banking, commercial law, property law, oil and gas and insolvency. He is also a deft negotiator in commercial transactions.
Mr. Bade-John has been involved in numerous litigations at numerous High Courts all over Nigeria and at the different divisions of the Federal High Court of Nigeria. He also practices very vastly in the appellate courts of both at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Nigeria (Abuja). His skills in debt recovery vide litigation has yielded millions of dollars (USD)and billions of Nigerian Naira in debt repayments to corporate bodies both in the banking and oil & gas sectors of the Nigerian economy. He has participated in several arbitration proceedings either as arbitrator or as counsel.
He is a non-executive director of Anchor Homes Development Ltd and Batoil Services Nigeria Limited.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria). He is a member of the Rotary Club (Past president, Rotary Club of Omole-Golden, District 9111) and a member of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club. Mr Bade-John is widely travelled and married with Children.
